Quarter 1 - Begins around 2nd week of May and ends around 3rd week of July

Quarter 2 - Begins around last week of July and ends around early October

Quarter 3 - Begins around 4th week of October and ends around last week of December

Quarter 4 - Begins around 2nd week of January and ends around mid March

 

ประโยชน์ของการจัดภาคการศึกษา

 

รอบการเรียนระบบ Block Teaching ทำให้นักเรียนได้มีการประมวล สรุป สังเคราะห์ การเรียนรู้ได้เร็วขึ้น สามารถประสบความสำเร็จในการเรียนรู้และพัฒนาตัวเองได้เร็วขึ้น เกิดกำลังใจและได้ชื่นชมในความก้าวหน้าที่เกิดขึ้น การประเมินผลพัฒนาการนักเรียนก็มีความถี่มากขึ้น การพัฒนานักเรียนจาก 3 ฝ่าย คือ โรงเรียน นักเรียน และผู้ปกครองก็จะมีประสิทธิภาพสูงขึ้น

ระบบ Block Teaching เหมาะสมในการสร้างกระบวนการเรียนรู้และแบบโครงงาน (Learning Project) ที่มีความกระชับ รัดกุม และยังสามารถขยายผลเป็นกระบวนการหรือโครงงานใหญ่ (Mega Project) โดยการผนวกกระบวนการเรียนรู้หรือโครงงานที่ต่อเนื่องในระยะเวลา 2 ภาค 3 ภาค หรือ 4 ภาคได้ตามความเหมาะสม รวมถึงการกำหนดเป้าหมายการเรียนการสอนในแต่ละภาคเรียน เพื่อการจัดบรรยากาศ การจัดตารางการเรียนรู้ รูปแบบการเรียนรู้ และการวางเป้าหมายกว้างๆ ของการพัฒนานักเรียนในแต่ละภาค ให้ร้อยเรียงสอดประสานกันอย่างมีเอกภาพตลอดปีการศึกษา

รอบการทำงานของครูและบุคลากรที่สั้นลงจะทำให้ระบบการพัฒนาในการทำงานมีความกระชับ รัดกุม และมีประสิทธิภาพสูงในการปรับปรุงและพัฒนาตนเอง องค์กร และแผนการทำงานอยู่ตลอดเวลาซึ่งจะมีผลโดยตรงต่อพัฒนาการของผู้เรียน

 

Benefits of using this semester system

 

By using Block Teaching method this helps the students to analyse, summarize the information, speed up the learning process and able to improve themselves faster. It will help to build confidence in the students and to be proud of their own improvements. This also allows for more students assessment so both the school and parents can help to improve in the students.

Block teaching method is suitable for creating learning process and learing project so that they can be more compact and will result in build mega project by combining all the information being learned in quarter 2, 3 and 4. Targets can also be easily assigned to each quarter and the teaching environment and tools can also be adjusted to improve the learning process through out the year.

In terms of work the teachers can also work better in shorter term time. They can gather more information about the students, the learing process, the teaching method and can use these information to improve themselves, the school and most importantly their students.
